Make your vacation special going through the personal experience of cooking the famous Piemonte dishes! In our kitchen you can learn some secret of our traditional recipes. We collaborate with two great chefs with experiences and background quite different; up to you to decide with who you want to cook.
Marisa, very good “family” cook. Her family has always run a restaurant, while Marisa has owned for years a house producing fruit in syrup, jam and sauces of very high quality.
Sonia, personal chef and chef freelance. Long experience in well known restaurants including Michelin stars restaurants. Very good chef both for Piemonte traditional cooking and classic cooking. Sonia is also specialized in vegetarian and vegana cooking.
We propose two types of cooking class, both of them only on request and subjets to chef availability.
Traditional Cooking & Tasting: You will learn how to cook 4 dishes, from “antipasto” to dessert. The class goes from 3pm to 6pm; the afternoon ends with a “merenda sinoira” where you can taste the dishes prepared, together with a glass of wine of the region. The cost starts from 80 euro per person (two persons minimum).
Menù and dinner “at home”: In this case you will cook with the chef a menu of 3 courses. You will receive some proposal of menu that you could personalise. At the end of the class, Bruno and I will prepare for you a table in the garden or in the wine cellar, depending on weather and we’ll serve the dishes prepared. Bruno will help you in choosing a wine to match the food. The cost of the class, including the dinner, water, coffee (wines not included) starts from 100 per person (two persons minimum).
In season (october-december) of course we can also pair the dishes with our great white truffle…(cost to be defined). You could also consider to go in person to look for truffles with our “trifolao” (truffle hunter) and his dog! Truffle Hunting, about 2 hours, 40 euro per person (minimum 2 persons)
Some dish to whet the appetite! “tajarin” hand made, “agnolotti del plin” filled with meat, “bagnet vert”, peppers with “bagna cauda” or “bagna freida”, the “risotto”, the rabbit, roasted meat with Barolo sauce, peaches with chocolate, the “bunet”…
